In early September, Tropical Storm Ida made landfall on the east coast of the United States, which brought much devastation to New York and New Jersey. In the aftermath of the disaster, the government received much help with resources to assist the survivors, among them was Tzu Chi New Jersey Chapter. Tzu Chi went to two cities to hand out aid supplies and cash cards for displaced residents and those recovering from Ida.
